Wyoming is one of the largest uranium producing states in the United States. Drilling costs there run significantly cheaper than in Canada’s Athabasca Basin, largely because the targets are shallow rather than deep. That difference compounds across a 200-hole program. The state also has an established regulatory path and a working ISR industry, so the permitting and operating model is well understood rather than novel.
